Psychological Services

The goal of a neuropsychological assessment is to provide relevant answers to specific questions, assist problem solving, and facilitate decision making. The structure of an assessment is based on the referral question and may consist of record reviews, semi-structured clinical interviews, behavioral observations, and evidence-based tests. The final report integrates the voluminous data gathered into an understandable description of the client's strengths and areas of difficulty, provides a diagnosis, and  recommendations that are client-specific and doable.

Evidence based practice is about providing the appropriate mental health services – services that have been demonstrated to work – for each client’s needs. A wide range of neuropsychological assessment instruments, backed by empirical evidence, are available for use with a wide range of disorders and conditions. Our assessment processes are based on scientific evidence and tailored to each specific client’s characteristics, needs, and resources.
